Text Fields

Learn more about the Text Field element and how to use it

Text Fields provide a space for you to enter text in your Template. It can be content specific, e.g. describing a presenting complaint. They can be left blank to indicate a space that needs to be filled in, or can be pre-populated with information.

Text Fields can have Labels set on them to add more context to the content they contain.

Adding a Text Field

You can add a Text Field through the Tool Bar or the Slash Menu by typing ‘/textfield’.

Text Fields differ from Blank Inputs in that they:

  • Can be pre-populated with information

  • Can have a Label added to it

  • Can be used within Logic (HYPERLINK TO LOGIC)
