Dropdowns

Learn more about the Dropdown element and how to use it

A Dropdown allows you to have multiple options ready to be selected as part of your Template.

Only 1 option can be selected at any given time. If you want multiple options to be selectable, consider using a Multi-select Dropdown or a Grid. Options cannot be negatively selected (HYPER LINKG TO NEGATIVES).

Adding a Dropdown

Dropdowns can be added to your Template through the Editor Tool Bar, or by the Slash Menu command '/dropdown'.

Once it has been added, you can start populating its options. You are able to also pre-select an option, to have it automatically enabled when a Clinical Note is created.

Dropdowns can have a Label to it, to give more context to its content.

They can also be used with Logic.

Using a Dropdown

When creating a Clinical Note from your Template, you can select your desired option in the Dropdown by opening its menu.

If you have another value to enter that is not part of the options, you can simply add it within the text area of the element.

To clear a Dropdown's selection, simply delete the content of its text area.
