Annotations are a way to add personal notes within your Template. Their content is not included in the generated Clinical Note.
They are highlighted with a yellow background to make them easily visible.

Website links to useful resources relevant to the Template
Quick access to pieces of information
Adding an Annotation
Open the template you want to edit.
Select/highlight the text you want to turn into an Annotation.
Select the "Annotation" option in the Editor Tool Bar.
You can also enable this feature by clicking on the Annotation icon in the tool bar or with the Slash Menu command /annot and start typing out your annotated text.
