Clickable Text

Learn more about the Clickable Text element and how to use it

Clickable text is a portion of text within a Template that remains inactive until it is clicked. If it is not active its content is not added to your generated notes, allowing you to avoid having irrelevant information added to your Clinical Note.

This is similar to a Clickable Line, but allows you to limit the feature to a specific section of text within a line. If this is your use case, then consider using a Clickable Line.

Add Clickable Text

  1. Open your template in editing mode.

  2. Highlight the text you want to make into Clickable Text.

  3. Select the 'Clickable Text' icon in the Editor Tool Bar.

Clickable text is displayed with a TEAL underline in Templates.

You can also Enable the Clickable Text feature in the tool bar, or through the Slash Menu with '/click' and type out your text as Clickable Text.

Using Clickable Text

In the Clinical Note editor, inactive clickable text will have a GREY text colour. Once clicked, it will become active and the text colour will change to BLACK.

Linked Feature

When clickable text is before or after a Button or Blank Input, it becomes linked to that element. Activating the Button or Blank Input will automatically activate the Clickable Text.

To enable this feature, ensure the text's underline extends to the Button or Blank Input, including any spaces between them.
