Drafts
Learn how to save a clinical note as a draft and access it to continue editing later
To view drafts of Clinical Notes, navigate to the Draft section in the sidebar.

You will be able to see the "Saved" and "Auto-saved" drafts tabs.

1. Autosaved draft
As you start creating and editing a clinical note, changes are automatically saved (auto-saved). These auto-saved drafts only remain for 48 hours before they are permanently deleted.
This is ideal for situations where you have lost the clinical note page you were editing or experienced a drop in internet connection. You can easily recover these notes to continue editing.
You can save an auto-saved draft to Saved drafts by selecting the "Save Draft" option in its 3 dot context menu.

2. Saved Drafts
Saved drafts are clinical notes that have been manually saved in the Clinical Note editor. This could be to complete them later or if you were waiting for further information to add to your clinical note. These drafts are saved for up to 14 days before they are permanently deleted.
To save a clinical note as a draft, select the 'Save as Draft' option in the top right corner of the Clinical Note editor

Here you will be able to add an identifier to the note so you can what appointment it was for.
Ensure not to include any patient identifiable information in the identifier!
You can update the draft's identifier by selecting the "Update identifier" option in its 3 dot context menu.

3. Continuing a draft clinical note
To continue editing a draft clinical note, select the "Edit" option in its context menu.

4. Deleting a draft
Drafts can be deleted, by selecting the "Delete" option in its context menu.
BEWARE! Deleting a draft will permanently delete it!
